RENEWED for Season Six: "Show & Tell" with BTL

Hopefully y’all are just as excited as me that “Show & Tell” with BTL has been renewed for Season Six and will be back on the air again on October 19, 2026, and through May 2027! For those of you unfamiliar with “Show & Tell” let me break it down for you:

 

“Show & Tell” is BTL’s morning talk show where we discuss all things that fall under the umbrella of the arts. Huntsville has a thriving arts community and we are proud that it is a place where you can experience Theatre, Music, Dance & Visual Arts everywhere here on the local level, but also with the Broadway touring productions that BTL brings to Huntsville. We are here to support and shine a light on all of it!

You might have seen me as Enjolras in Les Misérables, Munkustrap in Cats or the Prince in Cinderella. I used to perform in many Broadway Tours all across the country. Now I report on them and give you an insider's view into this unique little world. So, let's talk about all things Broadway!

  I had the absolute pleasure of seeing "Water for Elephants" on Broadway almost exactly a year ago to the day. And boy did it give me all the feels: laughter, spectacle, nostalgia, happy & sad tears, but most of all hope. This beautiful show ends on a hopeful note, that regardless of all the magnificent highs and sometimes devastating lows, these people have not only chosen the "circus life" but they continue to choose it over and over again. It's a wonderful thing to spend time with these characters (including young Jacob Jankowski) for two hours & 40 minutes and really experience what it was like to be touring with the circus during the Great Depression. And to see everything play out through the eyes of "elderly, present day" Jacob makes it all the more captivating, but also at times catastrophic. Are you Ready to "Get Shucked" with Broadway's Michael Passaro?!

  I have known Michael Passaro for almost 20 years (19.5 would be my best guess). As long as I’ve known him, he has been one of the most, or usually THE most sought-after stage manager on Broadway. And Michael has hired Jim to be part of his stage management team on more than a few Broadway shows over the years, so we’ve also grown to know him as part of our “chosen family” too. I already know this interview will be long because there is so much to discuss, so let’s just get to it, right after I share his Bio with you: Michael J. Passaro is a stage manager with over thirty-five years’ experience in the professional theater – on Broadway, regionally, and worldwide. Currently, Passaro is the Production Supervisor for Shucked. Broadway's David Josefsberg as Doc Brown in "Back To The Future!"

  David Josefsberg (Doc Brown) & Lucas Hallauer (Marty McFly) in BTTF ! I would like to start out by just saying it was SO MUCH FUN video chatting with David Josefsberg! He is just inherently hilarious and I was lol'ing the entire first 5 mins of our chat where he was mostly talking about whether his camera was on or not, could I hear him in his cavernous setting, and about his rockstar wife Liz (who called him at that exact moment). He asked if he could pick up (good husband) and of course I said yes. Then it was about his son Benji who is a senior in high school and just starred in his school's production of The Prom , "riffing like his daddy" (per David) and on and on. I have no doubt that being a fly on the wall in David's world would never get boring.
