RENEWED for Season Four: "Show & Tell" with BTL

Hopefully y’all are just as excited as me that “Show & Tell” with BTL has been renewed for Season Four and will be back on the air again in October through May 2025! For those of you unfamiliar with “Show & Tell” let me break it down for you:

“Show & Tell” is BTL’s morning talk show where we discuss all things that fall under the umbrella of the arts. Huntsville has a thriving arts community and we are proud that it is a place where you can experience Theatre, Music, Dance & Visual Arts everywhere here on the local level, but also with the Broadway touring productions that BTL brings to Huntsville. We are here to support and shine a light on all of it!

We have a new episode every week which airs at 6am on Fox54, Monday through Friday. Episodes are also available to watch on our YouTube channel @BroadwayHuntsville. CALL TO ACTION: Go on now and subscribe to our YouTube Channel -->  @BroadwayHuntsville

I was only at BTL for Season Three so I will only speak on that one. It was a blast! Hosted by our fearless leader, Andrew Willmon, and our Director of Marketing, Will Elrick. I'm the "host" understudy, in case Andrew or Will can't be there. Which I'm good at because I spent a lot of my performing career as the understudy. Haha. And we had quite the array of guests during our 30 episodes this past season! In no particular order, here's a sampling of the wonderful organizations and humans we got to hang out with in Season Three, discussing the arts and which inevitably led to other numerous tangential topics:

  • Alabama A&M Theatre Professor, Jill Balch Coon & her students
  • Theatre Huntsville with the hilarious Ben Stone
  • Independent Musical Productions (IMP) also with the hilarious Ben Stone
  • Lyrique Music Productions (LMP) with Artistic Director, Luz Ladrillono & actress Jacinda Swinehart
  • Broadway Stage Manager, Jim Athens – Phantom, Les Mis, and about a dozen more Broadway credits
  • Allison Dillon-Jauken, Executive Director of Arts Huntsville
  • Dave Anderson (TWICE) & Mike Roberts – performing live!!
  • Fantasy Playhouse (A Christmas Carol) with Cherie Elise Evans
  • “Mr. Positivity” Joe Martin - Relentless Positivity Fitness for Women
  • Mix 96.9 with Abby & Bill
  • Star 99.1 with Kevin & Ms. Josie
  • Rocket 95.1 with Jimbo & Casio
  • Shenanigans and Rocket City Improv with Angela Beth Ridgeway
  • Arts Huntsville presents Christkindlmarket at the Orion Amphitheatre
  • Alabama Women in Jazz Festival
  • The Divine Legacy Conservatory with executive director, Princeton Drake
  • Ditto Landing Executive Director, Brandi Quick: Christmas on the River and upcoming upgrades for Music Festivals
  • Tammy Therriault, owner of Tom Jeffreys Sign & Banner
  • Samantha Nielsen, the VBC's Director of Marketing, discussing their 50th Anniversary
  • Lots of students and theatre teachers were in the studio this season for High School Theatre: Grissom, Lee, Huntsville, Bob Jones, James Clemens, & Sparkman!
  • Around the Curtain Children’s Theatre and Lighthouse Theatre Company (Albertville)
  • Oh and SANTA!! Santa? "Oh, my God! Santa's coming! I know him! I know him!!"
  • And we had the Huntsville Havoc with their mascot Chaos
  • Then there was the "family" episode, starring the BTL Family of course!
  • Lots of discussing our 2023-2024 Season in real time
  • In our Season Three Finale episode we gave a sneak peek into our upcoming season and our reviews of the 11 Broadway Shows in Four Days we saw on our NYC trip this past April
